Due to the BUDD production incident, the
Destrons now have the same Binaltech technology as the Cybertrons. Among the
first wave of evil Binaltech warriors reborn from the Destron Binaltech
project is Swindle. A specialist in black market trading and weapon
manufacturing, Swindle is also involved in developing strategic weapons,
such as re-engineering the cosmic rust virus that caused many Cybertrons to
fall, which in turn initiated the Binaltech project. At first glance,
Swindle seems to have an easy going character, in reality, he is an
opportunist that will do anything to further his own position and fulfil his
own greed. He managed to put himself forward as one of the first few
Destrons to be formatted by the Binaltech technology, even though there were
other badly damaged Destrons that were initially prioritised to be
reformatted first.
